Botanical Gardens in central Hanoi... It is pretty, but I don't think I would enjoy swimming in that water...

This is a little knol in the botanical gardens. From this angle it very much reminds me of the side of the hill between Irwin hall and Graff hall at P.U.C.

There were a couple different varieties of butterflies at the botanical gardens, but this is the only wone that lighted so that I could take a photo of it.

A little bird that just wouldn't sit still so I could take a better picture. There are at least four varieties of birds at the botanical gardens – I really need a bird book! (Sorry, the lighting was all wrong for this picture)

These are some school children that I met at the botanical gardens. One boy saw that I had a camera and wondered if I would take a picture of them. I kindly obliged them and gave them the URL for this website. I hope that they will be able to access my website so they can see their picture!

A pair of friendly students I met at the park. I did not speak with them much, as my vietnamese is not up to par yet, and they don't speak any more english than I do vietnamese.
