Narrow Streets Most of the streets are narrow. The shops here apear very cluttered with the different spacing from the facing wall to the street on about every onther one and every different level. The signs plastered all over the place add to this affect. Intersection

Ha Noi's Market Center This Place is big... I mean BIG! Well, at least for Hanoi, although it doesn't hold a Candle compared to the Las Vegas Convention Center. As I understand it the older version of this place burned down in the 1990's and they rebuilt it. It now is comprised of three seperate buildings joined by walkways over the streets beneath. Each building is abou the size of a football field and has three floors. The bottom floor seemed to be mostly specialty foods. The middle floor was fabric heaven. (Mom, you'd love this place). The top floor was mostly clothing. |
